# Delete Webhook Subscription

Stops deliveries to a subscription. Events already queued for it are dropped. Answers `404` if the subscription does not exist, was already deleted, or was created by another key for data this key cannot read. The key that created a subscription can always delete it.

A subscription is also removed automatically when its URL answers `410 Gone` (which is how Zapier reports a deleted Zap) and when the API key that created it is revoked.

## Path Parameters

<ParamField path="webhookId" type="string" required>
  The subscription identifier (`whk_...`).

  `{ "id": "whk_...", "deleted": true }`
